IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF CURATOR JEAN-OLIVIER DESPRES - VOGUE

Translation of the article :

Created in 1998 as the world’s leading design fair, the PAD is making its return to Paris this spring, under the guidance of a jury co-chaired by Jacques Grange and Laura Gonzalez. From 2 to 6 April 2025, in the heart of the Jardin des Tuileries, you’ll find the cream of the world’s galleries. And while this labyrinthine itinerary may be a little daunting, curator and art and design enthusiast Jean-Olivier Despres (head of The Heller Group and former director of the Gagosian gallery) will be guiding us through the aisles to reveal the key pieces of this 27th edition, which is not to be missed.

PAD 2025 in the footsteps of curator Jean-Olivier Despres

Claires by Jean Lurçat

This tapestry, dated 1965, i.e. the end of the artist’s life, is surely one of his last cartoons. A carpet-series such as
a bequest to Humanity with a cascade of symbols showing the duality that occupied the artist’s mind.
Edition 5/6, 258 x 680 cm, 101 3/16 x 267 11/16 in. Exhibitor: Galerie Chevalier Parsua, Paris
