According to Daniel Riberzani, there is no creative barrier between painting and tapestry: the two disciplines can interact and complete each other. He is one of the few, if not the only artist of French movement l’Aventure Tissée, to use both simultaneously. As a result, painting and tapestry enrich and enlighten each other with their specificities (in terms of structure/shape and meaning).Daniel Riberzani demonstrates once again the endless possibilities of tapestry when it is mastered and appreciated at its right value. Through Riberzani’s work, tapestry becomes more than ever an art which sounds familiar, yet remaining at the same time mysterious, timeless and serene.
